  • Illinois: "Calm4Calm." From the Illinois Human Services Mental Health Division, Illinois residents wanting to speak to a mental healthcare professional can text the word “TALK” to 552020. The service is also available in Spanish by texting “HABLAR” to 552020. The service is free to use.

  • Chicago: (833)-TURN123. From the Turn Center and the Urban Resilience Network, this hotline is a toll-free number for Chicago Residents experiencing violence, grief, anger, terminal illness, depression/separation, vicarious trauma, self harm, or abuse. It is available Mon-Fri 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. CST. More info here.
